Joel Mace, Licensed Home Inspector, CPI

Joel started Capital Area Home Inspections in 2014 and is licensed through the Texas Real Estate Commission as a Professional Real Estate Inspector. Joel is also an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector. Joel began working for a custom home builder in Central Texas in 2005. He went on to gain experience in the industry and worked for numerous construction companies regionally doing work in AC, plumbing, general contracting, commercial, and industrial construction. Joel also works for the Round Rock Fire Department where he has served the community for 11 years as a firefighter and emergency medical technician and holds the rank of Fire Lieutenant.

Joel has completed over 800 hours of building construction training through Texas State University, TEEX (Texas A&M, Texas Engineering Extension Service), A Better School of Building Inspection, Champions School of Real Estate, and InterNACHI. Joel holds additional system-specific inspector certifications through InterNACHI.

Joel resides outside of Thorndale on a small family farm that he enjoys on his days off with his wife and 3 daughters. Joel has become the go-to guy for all things construction and enjoys doing woodwork and DIY projects with his family.
